My Experience at CSW

One my of college professor’s recommended I apply to the Consumer Strategy Workshop at P&G and I am so glad that I did! It got me off to a great start to a career with P&G and allowed me to learn so much about the company, the function and the city I now call home.

What did you find most valuable about attending the CSW Workshop?

The workshop is set up to give campers the opportunity to gain experience solving a ‘real world’ business question by interacting with employees, consumers and other campers from around the country. I was so impressed by the amount of responsibility and exposure we were immediately given upon stepping foot in P&G’s headquarters. I loved the experience of attending focus groups with Hispanic women, and also all of the social events around Cincinnati. It gave me a great feel for what working and living in Cincinnati would be like and gave me the confidence to accept my internship for the following summer.

Angela’s Advice to You

If I had to give just one piece of advice if you’re thinking about applying to the Consumer Strategy Workshop, it would be to take the application seriously. You’re not just applying for a short workshop, you’re applying for a long and rewarding career at an incredible company. P&G has opened so many doors for me. In less than three years I’ve had unimaginable experiences launching new products in new categories, flying around the world to talk to consumers, and working with a variety of brilliant people from new hires to senior management.

I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I applied for the Consumer Strategy Workshop as a sophomore in college, but the experience was unmatched and I immediately knew that I belonged here. It ultimately led to a job that I can’t imagine not waking up everyday doing.
